Overview
Machu Picchu 2 days is a good option for people who want to enjoy Machu Picchu more calmly without having to get up very early and thus be able to enjoy a very beautiful view of Andean landscapes and picturesque towns within the Sacred Valley.
Also once in the town of Machu Picchu you will enjoy its beautiful hot springs, a place located 10 minutes walking from the town. These waters emanate from beneath the sulfurous soil and spring from the rocks at different temperatures and offer natural resources for medical therapies, such as the treatment of rheumatism, help release stress and toxins, improve metabolism and prevent high blood pressure.
The maximum temperature of the Hot Springs is 46ºC, and it is open until 8 pm at night.
After or before visiting this place you can also visit a small waterfall called Allcamayo with a height of 30 meters. Along the way you can also see other lower waterfalls. It is also possible to observe the great diversity of flora and fauna typical of the place.
On the second day of the Machu Picchu 2 Day Tour, you will be visiting Machu Picchu on a guided tour and get a detailed insight into the Inca civilization and Spanish conquest. After the tour you will have plenty of free time to immerse in the tranquility and soak in the captivating views of the citadel tucked amidst Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu Mountains.

Day 1
Day 01: Cusco – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes
We will pick you up from your hotel/hostel in Cusco in our Mini van at 7:50 a.m. to take you to the town of Ollantaytambo.
Once in Ollantaytambo, we will be boarding the train to Aguas Calientes (INCA RAIL – VOYAGER SERVICE train bound for Aguas Calientes, leaving at 11:15 a.m.) The train traverses along the course of Urubamba river with views of snow capped Andean peaks.
Our representative will meet you as you will reach Aguas Calientes and will transfer you to the hotel. You will have the rest of the day free to yourself.
This day you will have free time to have lunch (Not included) and visit the thermo-medicinal waters of the city, as well as to visit a small waterfall called Alcamayo.
Later in the evening, the tour guide will be meeting you at your hotel around 19:00 pm, and will brief you on the following day’s itinerary.
Day 2
Day 02: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco
This is possibly the most awaited day on your trip to Peru. Early in the morning, we will be taking the 25 minutes bus ride, up the hill to the main entrance of Machu Picchu citadel. The tour guide will meet you here and will assist you in passing the security control.
Your passport along with the Machu Picchu entrance ticket will be verified here by local authorities.
As you enter the citadel, you will witness the golden rays of the rising sun beaming on the walls of Machu Picchu as the blanket of clouds would unveil the beautiful citadel.
We will begin the tour with a brief introduction to the Inca civilization. Then we will visit some of the prime parts of Machu Picchu including the remains of Inca temples and royal quarters, main plaza and more.
After the tour, you will have plenty of time to soak in the panoramic view of Machu Picchu. If you have booked to climb Huayna Picchu Mountain or Machu Picchu Mountain, the tour guide will be directing you to the respective trail head.
Once you have had your fill of Machu Picchu, we will be leaving the citadel and taking the 25 minutes bus back to Aguas Calientes. You will have some free time here so you can have lunch.
Later in the evening, we will be taking the train back to Ollantaytambo. Our representative will be meeting you here on arrival and will transfer you back to your hotel in Cusco.

If you like to apply for the student price you need to comply with the next requirements Peruvian regulation for students. If you are a student, you need to send us a copy or picture of both side of your STUDENT CARD also a picture or photo of your PASSPORT in order to verify, to get discount.
The student card must be an original student ID gives from the university in PVC material, and it must have the next requirements printed on it: University information, personal student information, student picture, and expiration date valid only for one year, it year must coincide with the year that student visit Machu Picchu, the discount until 25 years old. ISIC cards are not valid for the discount.
