Day 01: Cusco – ATVs Base Camp – Rainbow Montain – Cusco.

We offer two convenient departure times for our ATV tour to Rainbow Mountain, allowing you to enjoy the beauty of this natural wonder with fewer people and no long lines:

Early Departure – 4:30 a.m.

Perfect for travelers who want to witness the sunrise over the Andes and be among the first to arrive at Rainbow Mountain. Enjoy peaceful landscapes, crisp morning air, and the best chance for crowd-free photos.

Mid-Morning Departure – 8:30 a.m.

A more relaxed option for those who prefer extra rest. Thanks to our ATV route, you’ll still arrive at the viewpoint ahead of the traditional hikers with fewer people around and the same breathtaking views.

Once we pick you up from your hotel, at either of the two departure times, we will begin a two-hour drive to Cusipata, a small village where we will stop for breakfast, which lasts approximately 40 minutes.

After breakfast, we’ll continue for about one more hour by transport until we reach the base camp where the ATVs are located. Once there, everyone will get off the vehicle and we’ll have a short 10-minute driving instruction session. We’ll also provide safety gear such as helmets.

Then, we’ll start our ascent on the ATVs, which takes approximately 30 minutes until we reach the top of the mountain. From there, it’s just a short 5 minutes walk to the viewpoint of Rainbow Mountain. You will have about one hour or possibly a little more depending on weather conditions to explore, enjoy the scenery, and take amazing photos!

After finishing our visit to the Rainbow Mountain, we return to the base camp on our ATVs. From there, we take our transport back to Cusipata to enjoy a local buffet lunch. Finally, we continue with a 2 hour drive back to Cusco, where the tour ends at the Main Square (Plaza de Armas).
